During a period of austerity this is surely the last thing we want to read in the Guardian – see link https://www.theguardian.com/society/2016/jun/28/trust-in-charities-at-record-low-after-scandals?CMP=ema-1695&CMP=
My experience is that whilst the vast majority of the charities I come into contact with are well meaning and deliver first class outcomes to the most vulnerable members of our local communities, a significant number will benefit from becoming more professional in areas linked to governance, with a focus on areas such as legal structures, finance, the management of human resources and effective monitoring.
We take great pride in the support we are giving to our amazing third sector clients, and our doors are open to those who feel they would like a [free] chat to explore how they can protect themselves from such headlines.
Kindest regards
Edwin :-)
