I am in the process of researching the benefits of a 10 year programme of youth support activities on a deprived housing estate in Bridgend, South Wales. We are looking at cost benefits and results based accountabilties.

This is bringing up some really interesting outcomes, such as how 4 hours part-time working, linked to an NVQ qualification in youth work has resulted in a mother of 4 children being in work and saving the State £36,400 in benefits.

I would be interested in others experiences in this area.
