Wider Impact is delighted to submit a Big Lottery funded report to our commissioners, Staffordshire Library Service, which highlights how to involve young people in community activities.
Building on our evaluation of the Norton Canes Big Lottery Funded Library Project (see link http://www.widerimpact.com/november-2012-wider-impact-deliverers-an-independent-evaluation-of-a-local-library , we were commissioned to carry out further research to explore how to further engage local young people in the Library and wider community activities.
Karen Yoemans of the Staffordshire Library Service says, ‘ We are extremely grateful to Wider Impact for carrying out this additional work that adds value to the independent evaluation of the Norton Canes and Communuty Hub Project.
As previously their approach has been extremely professional and thorough. Edwin Lewis in particular has taken time to work alongside us to connect with and involve a group of committed young people (pictured) and other participants, who should be thanked for their hard work and the time they have taken to ensure the production of such a useful and informative report.
I would not hesitate to recommend Wider Impact to to others looking to carry out similar work’.
Please contact Wider Impact Director Edwin Lewis here (Tom – please provide link) if you are interested in commissioning Wider Impact.
