I have just received a plea from your local Residents Association for members, as it seems a lack of interest from local people will result in it ‘giving up’.  This is despite the group achieving successes supporting local community interests.

It makes me wonder if the ‘Big Society’ has a chance in these modern times, when people seem to be self-contained in their own homes?
